Torsion Arm Standoff

March 19, 2017

On the X7 R&D project, one spin off was the idea to allow greater control of the arm angles, shackle length, and shock position.  Our Torsion Arm Standoff does just that and will bolt onto our new style torsion arms that have two shock mount holes. The standoff moves the shock up 1-3/8" to allow the torsion arms to be set at 9 degrees LR and 8 degrees RR while allowing the shock to not top out before the axle drops to the optimal position. Without these standoffs the shock tops out too soon.

If you have the torsion arms without the second shock hole, you can add the hole manually.

The 40-401 kit comes with the Standoffs, a titanium shock pin, and hardware.
