Hyper Racing 600 Speedweek Is In The Books!

October 21, 2021
LEWISBERRY, PA - This year's Hyper Racing 600 Speedweek had new records, new winners and new champions. The weather also could be considered a record breaker as we did not have one rainout all week! The teams that traveled from all over the country to compete in what would be arguably the best 600 Sprint racing scene was nothing short of impressive. An average of 88 cars took to the track every night to compete for the title championship belt and the $1,000.00+ to win every night. The week would end with a $3,000.00 payout to the champion at Saturday's finale at Lanco's Clyde Martin Memorial Speedway.

As the youngest champion at 16 years old, Christian Bruno won the Speedweek title. This championship win was even more impressive, considering that Bruno did not win a race all week, only the second driver to do so in Speedweek history. Other notable standouts would be Colin White, another championship contender who passed a total of 41 cars over the span of 6 races, while also only being one of the four drivers to make every single speedweek race. Christian Bruno, and James Morris would be the other two Hyper drivers that made every show. The week would bring other 600 wingless standout driver Steven Snyder Jr his first Hyper Racing Speedweek win. Damon Paul and Timmy Buckwalter also added another win to their Speedweek history.

The marathon that is 600 Speedweek is unlike any other week in the Northeast for the teams that choose to compete and brings a lot of positive attention to the rapidly growing 600cc sprint class. Thank you again to all sponsors, fans, teams and drivers that supported the 2021 Hyper Racing 600 Speedweek, see you all in 2022!
